Charles Schurter (who prefers to be called Chuck) has been practicing law for over 16 years with experience in civil litigation, employment law, personal injury, business formation, and contracts. Currently he is a sole practitioner with offices in Tustin and Corona that focus primarily on bankruptcy and small business matters. Chuck previously served as General Counsel and Vice President of Profab, Inc., a manufacturing company in Santa Ana, where he managed the Reebok Spin Cycle program and implemented standard operating procedures throughout every department in the company. Chuck's professional career includes representing artist Phil Hanks, who paints portraits and sports art. Chuck recently promoted a one-man art show of Phil's work that was exhibited at the Nottingham Gallery in Newport Beach. Chuck's initial formal education is in technical areas, and prior to practicing law he was employed as an electronic technician and mechanical designer. Chuck is always on the lookout for a challenging new project to get involved with. His reputation as a "Renaissance man" provided him the opportunity several years ago to spearhead development of a revolutionary new product for a company that manufactures inventory dispensing systems. Chuck attained his Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law, graduating with Scholastic Merit, serving on Law Review, and earning four American Jurisprudence Awards.
