About Gregory
Gregory B. Collins is a Managing Member of Kercsmar & Feltus and he heads the firm's intellectual property practice. After practicing commercial and intellectual property litigation at the largest firm in the Southwest, Mr. Collins joined Kercsmar & Feltus over seven years ago.
Mr. Collins was recently ranked as a "Southwest Super Lawyer" in intellectual property litigation—a ranking bestowed on only 12 Arizona attorneys. He has also been honored by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star." Mr. Collins is recognized as one of Arizona's Finest Lawyers, an honor that identifies attorneys with established reputations for integrity and professional conduct. In 2012, the Arizona State Bar named him to Arizona's Civil Jury Instructions Committee, where he helped draft uniform jury instructions for all Arizona civil cases. He is an adjunct professor at Arizona Summit School of Law and a published author.
As lead trial counsel for his clients, Mr. Collins has secured verdicts and arbitration awards in patent, copyright and trademark infringement matters. As a corollary to his intellectual property practice, Mr. Collins handles a wide-range of matters involving the internet, including cases involving internet defamation, keyword advertising and DMCA notices. He frequently prosecutes and defends Lanham Act false advertising and common law unfair competition claims and has taught continuing legal education courses on these subjects.
He also handles a variety of complex commercial disputes, including real estate litigation and contract breach cases. He has prosecuted and defended cases seeking damages awards in the high ten figures.
Mr. Collins attended high school in Tucson, Arizona and he is a double University of Arizona grad, earning his Juris Doctorate from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona. Mr. Collins is married to one of his law school classmates, who practices criminal defense.
