Kristen Gyolai believes that being a good lawyer means being a good listener. Her ability to listen allows her to be the voice for injured victims who need help standing up to big insurance companies.Hailing from Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Kristen came to Minnesota to earn her bachelor's degree in communication and writing studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She graduated magna cum laude. During her time as an undergrad, she was a reporter for the student newspaper, resident advisor, communication club officer, and Chairperson of the College of Liberal Arts Academic Advising Committee.She went on to study law at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. During law school Kristen was active in the Minnesota Justice Foundation and Mitchel Mentors. Prior to being admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Kristen learned about personal injury law while clerking with Fields Law Firm. She focuses her legal practice on workers' compensation, Social Security Disability, and personal injury cases.Kristen is a current member of the MSBA New Lawyer Section and the Minnesota Association for Justice.During her spare time, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, reading, and cooking for her family.
