While not in the office, I love to travel. I spent a very happy year in 2012-13 in western Europe accompanying my spouse on an academic sabbatical. Closer to home, I have begun to explore the Appalachian Trail -- I've done a section of the trail in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and hope to hike more of it as time permits.
