As a United States Army veteran, former assistant district attorney, and former defense attorney for the largest auto insurer in New York, Peter Mayer holds wide-ranging experience in criminal and civil litigation, and is respected throughout Long Island for his expertise and tireless work ethic. He consistently obtained verdicts or settlements that saved clients and the carrier hundreds of thousands of dollars. A member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and New York Academy of Trial Lawyers, Mr. Mayer graduated cum laude from Touro College's Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and earned the CALI Academic Excellence Awards, given to the highest grade in the class, in Legal Methods II for Best Brief, International Law and American Legal Studies Practicum. He graduated with high distinction from George Mason University with a bachelor of individualized studies in legal studies.
