I am passionate about helping my clients with whatever matters most to them. I help healthcare professionals facing DEA matters, licenseing matters, criminal charges, and forfeiture matters. I have had the honor of being licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan since 2003. After law school, I clerked for just over 2 years in the 3rd Circuit Court in downtown Detroit conducting legal research and preparing opinions for circuit court judges on topics ranging from antitrust to zoning. I then represented clients from 2007-2012 as a solo practitioner in East Lansing. Although I had a general practice, I concentrated my practice primarily in criminal law and family law. From 2012-2017, I defended clients charged with drunk driving and related charges as a member of the Barone Defense Firm team. I find my work very rewarding. I get to put my biology and psychology degrees to work alongside my law degree. I am very proud of the difference that I have been able to make in the lives of my clients. I have represented clients in district and circuit courts in over 40 counties across the state of Michigan from St. Joseph to Petoskey and Cheboygan to Monroe, and I have earned the respect of judges and prosecutors throughout the state by zealously and ethically advocating for my clients.
